My goal is to learn what can help people.
I hold a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from the School of Applied Mathematics of the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV EMAp).
My interest is in the intersection of data science, statistics and stochastic processes. Joining these fields, I’ve worked on Gaussian processes and their applications in emulating functions, and now I’m working on exact methods for sampling from historical data models under the supervision of Professor Luiz Max de Carvalho and co-supervision of Professor Flávio B. Gonçalves. From July 2023 to June 2025, I worked as a consultant at the The World Bank.

| Mar 04, 2025 | Starting in September, I’m going to be a PhD student in Statistics at the School of Mathematics at The University of Edinburgh, under the supervision of Prof. Jordan Richards and Prof. Miguel de Carvalho. |

| Dec 01, 2024 | The 7th Latin American Congress on Bayesian Statistics (VII COBAL) in now happening in Belo Horizonte, MG, and I’m proud to be a part of it with a poster presentation! |
| Oct 30, 2024 | Just finished my final report for my undergraduate thesis, which was focused on Bayesian shape-constrained curve-fitting with Gaussian processes! I’m very excited to move forward to my next project. |
